Richard Myers has been married to his wife Nancy for 45 years and has two sons Mitch and Whit. The family is blessed to have two wonderful daughter-n-laws Kayla and Sterling and four beautiful grandchildren JR, Charlie, Merritt, August, and Hutton. Richard graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and started coaching High School Sports immediately. After a few years in coaching, took a sales job for an oilfield service company before starting in the commercial real estate business in Dallas Texas in 1984. Floyd Bates and Richard Myers have been in the commercial real estate business together for 39 years as the Bates & Myers Company. The blessings that Bates & Myers Company have enjoyed over the years has been lasting relationships that have flourished and grown. Richard is most proud of the reputation the company has received for high integrity and business relations with long term customers.
